My name is Hannah and I am a film professional and freelance film journalist from the UK. I enjoy watching, studying, analysing, researching, discussing and reviewing film. In 2013 I graduated from the University of Leeds with a First Class Honours degree in Film Studies and in 2014 graduated from Edinburgh with an MSc in Film Studies. I am currently working as Programme Coordinator at Sheffield Doc/Fest. I enjoy writing about film and the state of the film industry. I am a strong supporter of independent picture houses. Cinema frames everything for me. It creeps into every area of life and drives me forward. David Lean’s Brief Encounter is undoubtedly my favourite film.
