A Personal Journey.

This will be a very quick entry as I simply want to draw your attention to a wonderful documentary called A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese through American Movies. A film series that shows this masters of cinema discussing his cinematic influences and inspirations in the most gruelling detail. I have just watched the final episode. The film can be found at http://www.indiemoviesonline.com/watch-movies/a-personal-journey-part-1 and is in three sections. It is extremely long; each section running for almost eighty minutes. If you have the patience and interest then please give it a watch. It is utterly fascinating, and the most useful and informative insight into the work of this particular film-maker.

It was recommended to me by a friend recently and I have made great use of it. http://www.indiemoviesonline.com is a legitamate website upon which you can watch a huge variety of low budget films in a variety of genres. The horror and documentary genres are, particularly, rich in content. My favourite films that are available include An American Werewolf in London, Night of the Living Deadand The Quay Brother’s Street of Crocodiles. There are several films I am still looking forward to watching on this website, and many more I am yet to uncover.
